Danika came to me about a year after being in a traumatic motorcycle accident. This accident was so brutal that she fought through surgery after surgery to recover.
Months of procedures and recovery left her disconnected from her body, beauty, and sensuality. It was a piece of her that she felt lost in that accident. She hadn’t seen herself as beautiful in so long.
Sessions like these are what light my heart on fire. Being able to help Danika go through the pile of lingerie she brought helped her get dressed while comforting her in her time of insecurity. To remind herself that the accident didn’t ruin her body. Her perseverance through all that pain and trauma made her a survivor. It showed how powerful she was.
I have always found Danika to be stunningly beautiful in all the years I have known her. But on this day, she was more beautiful than ever before with that strength.
